After high school, she pursued her BS in Exercise Science and the direct admit DPT program at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Her specialty focus is working with amputees, pre- and post- prosthetic training, and gait training. Additionally, she is working toward a manual therapy certification. Martin Iverson, PTA
Martin was first introduced to the profession of physical therapy as a patient of Greg Fritz, PT, who encouraged Martin to pursue a career in the field. Since then, he has found great fulfillment in this career path because of the varied and constant challenges it presents. He enjoys the challenges of understanding patients' needs, encouraging and inspiring them, and challenge them to take ownership of their rehabilitation. Martin also thrives on the required challenges of striving to constantly grow intellectually to understand the nature of the human body and mind, and how to utilize proven techniques as well as learning and inventing new ones for treatment, sometimes on a case by case basis.
Martin and his family long-time residents of Anacortes that can be traced back 7 generations. He is ecstatically happy to be married to his wife, Sara, and has 6 children and one granddaughter. He can be seen on stage in "An Evening of Improv", a periodic charity event which he also produces. On his days off, Martin chooses to be involved in neurologic pediatric rehabilitation with the Burlington School District. A list of hobbies which he doesn't have enough time for are basketball, traveling, coin collecting, quantum physics, and videography.
